Breathe Salt. Breathe Better.

We invite you to come relax in our salt cave and

rejuvenate yourself while receiving the

benefits of Halotherapy.

What is Halotherapy?

Halo (salt) therapy is a holistic method that reproduces the natural micro climate of a

salt cave by dispersing saline in a therapeutic concentration in a room whose surfaces are covered with tons of salt.  The dry salt therapy in the room plays an important role in the relief of health problems, and is used for patients with respiratory problems and skin conditions.  Salt has the natural ability to balance out the inflammation in our bodies caused by irritants.  The neutralizing forces of salt cancel out positive charged and electromagnetic vibrations in our environment, as well as in our body.  This theoretically causes your body to release more serotonin, one of the chemicals behind feelings of happiness.  Hence, salt therapy has anti-inflammatory, detoxifying,

de-stressing and relaxing effects!

The micro climate of our salt room is 3 times cleaner than in a sterile surgery room in a hospital, therefore it is nearly impossible to catch any infection or be affected by bacteria during the therapy.  Salt is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal.  In addition, our filtered ventilation system is constantly working to circulate the air in the salt room, drawing used air out and clean, filtered air in.

What can Halotherapy Benefit?

Mineral rich, natural salts help to reduce inflammation of the skin, lungs and other organs which is vital to jump-start the healing process. Halotherapy provides relief from chronic cough and congestion caused by the constant exposure to airborne pollutants, dust and bacteria.  Because halotherapy helps to improve circulation, it is an effective treatment against a plethora of skin conditions from acne to psoriasis.  The minerals in natural salts help to moisterize and nourish the skin and eliminate infections.  Ailments that can be controlled through halotherapy include but are not limited to:

Rhinitis

Occupational Toxic Dust Bronchitis

Sinusitis

Cystic Fibrosis

COPD

Hayfever

Smoker's Cough

Ear infections

Acute Respiratory Isuues

Chronic Nose and Throat Illnesses

Coughs and Colds

Viral Infections

Neurodermatitis

Stress

Headache

Lethargy

Anxiety

Insomnia

The negative ions in the halotherapy room also aid in improving energy and mental alertness linked while promoting an overall sense of well being.  The salt micro particles help to:

Scrub the airway clean of mucus buildup

Decrease inflammation linked to bronchitis and other conditions

Cleanse and sanitize the bronchial vessels

Strengthen the immune system

Regulate immune reaction to allergens

Prevent and treat the flu

What do I wear to a Salt Cave?

Salt room therapy requires no special clothing; the salt will not damage your clothes or leave any noticeable residue.  You may wear anything that you are comfortable with, as you will remain entirely clothed for the session.  The only item that you add is shoe covers before entering.  The temperature is a cool 68 degrees in our cave, but we provide clean blankets for your comfort.  For children we request that they come to sessions in clothing that is clean and free of dirt or mud, and clean socks, as the shoe coverings we provide may be too large to stay on their feet.

How much is a session?

Each 45 minute halotherapy session in our salt cave is only $25!

First time guests receive a $5 discount!

Packages of 5 sessions for $100 are available.
